Out of curiosity, has anyone tried a Blue Spark on a bass cab? The chart shows a nice low-end bump at 80Hz (with the Focus Control switch out), and a friend of a friend is selling one for a really good price.

The only bad Ibanez is anything below the SR400's. I had an SR300, and it was by far the worst bridge design EVER! Getting the bridge saddle adjustments to stay put for 5 minutes is impossible, even with threadlocker! Aside from that travesty, everything else I've had from them is good.

Thanks for the insight everyone! I ended up holding off on the SRA555 for now. I might replace the SR405 with that in the future, but for now I ended up getting a Peavey Millenium BXP AC 5 instead. Totally gives me the tone I'm looking for when I need a brighter sound.
