You might try D'Addario XL EXL220S Super Light 40 60 75 95 (Amazon) To my touch the lighter E string feels much better and the other strings feel like they were made for the Mini.

The tuners have always binded tight.on my year old mini. I thought it wouuld get better with repeated use but it hasn't. Short of replacing, is there a fix? If I do replace, what would you recommend? I lack the ability to get too fancy, I think I would be looking for a "drop in." Gotohs (4)...
