Thanks! That's how I break down chord progressions I don't get. But here, I was bothered by the presence of the F in the B°, making an anticipation on the F and foremost making no leading tones that aims the root note of the F chord.

Plucking up with the nail will file it. Maybe you should work less at first in order to keep your nail! Maybe just working with the thumb as a mediator on 8th note rock groove to get the motion in the wrist and not making constant repetitive plucks with the nail. Another way if you want to work...

My 2 cents, just to point out that working only ascending or ascending and then descending is a huge lock maker. Working only descending scale, taking marks on the G string is a good way to make the scale comfortable overall.

Thanks for your input but it's an A major in the bridge so not a iii in F but a V in the relative minor mode D minor. I sure feel too that the B° fits perfectly but I just would like to understand more about it in order to maybe be able to reuse it in another context.
