Good one! I play alot of reggae, flatwounds are good. I use my jazz bass, aston barret style. Back off the tone a little, and roll a little off my bridge pup. anchor my thumb off the end of the neck. Good luck. I use 1 15, and 1 410. both ampeg, ba series. hopw this helps

Thats pretty good. I did that when It was not frettless. But now, I can put it in passive mode, no series, move of the bridge pickup . and get a close upright sound. And be heard in a mix. But i also have an ampeg stack. I love the jag tone. I get get a good growl out of it. But really it's all...
