How do you like the Berg compare to the Darkglass ? I sold my DG210n for a Berg NXT212. Amazing cab. The Darkglass 212 sound insane in the QCortex, was recorded by Nolly too aha Those Darkglass cabs have a tighter low end or less low end extension but the midrange is so nice

It work fine. The XU is definitely more flexible. I just got a Quad Cortex and the EQ on it is insane in comparison. I would say that if you want a simple crossover drive the X7 is the best because it has everything you need basically. The X doesn't have the compression in comparison

I started with the X Ultra, sold it, got the dP3-X, loved it and then hated it lol and sold it. Now I have the simpler X7. Really depend what you like. I will say, the X7 is a great "Tool", easy to use if you know how that work. The connectivity is what I like more too. There is less noise...

The video is great as always. He definitely know the product and play well. But I personally don't like that tone because my first 200$ bass sounded like that without post processing lol

The drive don't change the cabsim, I don't understand why it would change it :/ On a basic BDDI, the clean is clean you blend the SansAmp signal in. The SansAmp circuit is an Amp+Cab simulation

SansAmp is : AmpSim + CabSim, all the time. There is no change in the cabsim if you put more drive, it is just engage all the time and stay the same.

Every SansAmp include the Cabsim. But this one doesn't have any blend, only a Level for each channel. When you engage the crossover the LPF is engage on the clean and the HPF is engage on the low

For the LPF, no, because it is the bass frequencies that hit the compressor first just because they are more powerfull than others frequencies

I don't know from where he is, but it is only 500$ in the USA. In Europe it will be 750€ which is at the moment 810$ US

The other Tech21 product are like 50 bucks more than in the USA, this one is really expensive for us in Europe :/
