    Acoustic B600 or a Head & Cab?

Well, she's home and she sounds great. Haven't played it here yet but did in the seller's garage and it brought the neighbors out of their front doors, and that was not even at half gain. Super clean, punchy, good tone and...heavy. A bargain for the $300 I would say.

    Acoustic B600 or a Head & Cab?

Very much may be for me as I have RA...but I think this is the best option anyway cost-wise. My wife is my roadie, however...

    Acoustic B600 or a Head & Cab?

Hey guys, I have the opportunity to start gigging with a local band. They do use a PA, but I've not seen it yet. I was invited as of Sunday and am looking forward to getting to know their music. I have no equipment other than a Fender Squire Dimension plus 5 string, which I absolutely love. I...

GK MB fusion 500 Bass amp

So it looks like I could get the GK MB Fusion for $375 and pair it with an Acoustic Acoustic B410C Classic 4x10 and make this work financially. GC has the Acoustic on sale for $199, which is within my budget. No one else - used or otherwise - sees to be able to match this price. I've not...

GK MB fusion 500 Bass amp

Do you gig with it, or this is only for practice use? Seems like a powerful amp. How about cabs for it? I should also note I just found an Ashdown Mag 300 combos with an extra Ashdown 1x15 for $400. Looksto be in decent condition as well, and I have played several Ashdowns before and thought...

GK MB fusion 500 Bass amp

Hey guys, I found this little number on my local Craigslist. Of course the posting says, "Great condition, works perfectly." They want $375 for it. Time to get my own rig. I play Christian tunes with an amp provoded for me, but for this amp it would be used for classic rock and some grunge...

    Squier MII 2002 Precision Bass

I bit the bullet and got the Squier Dimension Deluxe V last night for $250. It is beautiful and the tone possibilities are amazing.

Squier Deluxe Dimension Bass (IV & V string)

I just picked mine up used for $250, and it is in awesome shape. The neck is a bit wider than I thought it would be but it is manageable. The tone possibilities are amazing.

    Squier MII 2002 Precision Bass

Good enough...time to go play a few and see what I like. Who knows...my luthier may say the one I have is worth to keep it, and I'll need a 5-string to boot.

    Squier MII 2002 Precision Bass

Outstanding advice. One last question (I think). What about Essex basses? I've read the threads (there are a lot of them) about these. Some love 'em, some hate 'em. What is the general opinion? The reason I ask is there is a nice 5-string on CL that I could see myself getting into, and it is...

    Squier MII 2002 Precision Bass

So no offense to broke, because I am a relatively new player as well. What do some of the vets here think? I've read a ton of threads about Essex basses, the new Squires (Jaguars in particular), and also looked at some of the Warwick Rockbass models. I gig on bass 2-3 times a month, so it would...

    Squier MII 2002 Precision Bass

So that's a Squire too...any concerns with that, or is it because it is newer and a 5-string that makes this a good deal? It certainly is a pretty one. What about ESP 5 strings? Any good? They sound like that have a lot of bite which is not quite what I an looking for. I realize this isn't a...

    Squier MII 2002 Precision Bass

I've been thinking the same thing...but I'm not sure I have the cash yet to make the upgrade. Also, I'd like to get into a 5-string instead of a 4. A lots of the tunes we do are tuned down a step or 2, and thus I need that extra low note or two (or I have to go up an octave, which just doesn't...
