    Right, so since 4 ohms is less impedance( ac resistance) Shouldn't it be allowing more current through, so less waste heat?

    Mobility issues preclude heavy gear. Current cab is 98lbs and far too damn heavy. The difficulty of this question is the impetus for posting on the forum, to garner input from a larger pool of players with experience of the cabs listed.
