Currently using Peavey Cirrus strings for my Cirrus 5. I plan on changing over to LaBella Super Steps SS45-B under the advice from a friend.

With the relaunch of Cirrus basses by Peavey now being produced in Czech Repub should make all the USA made Cirrus basses all skyrocket in value! Its very sad that Peavey has chosen not to have a USA produced handcrafted work of art going forward. And the price jump just reflects the greed level...

To see a stringed instrument without strings, other than between string changes and maintenance, always feels like it is just incomplete and if the guitar or bass has any animated feelings, it would feel sad. How can it be properly loved with a decent set of strings?
