I had the exact same dilemma a few weeks ago. I have a very small practice space and I ordered the 500 but it just felt too loud so I ended up returning it. It kind of felt like you go from hearing nothing, to feeling it's presence but still not quite hearing enough so I was terrified to turn...

I get the 7ender folk know what they're doing, but it's just strange to read about it and then see something that doesn't follow that rule that matching the resistance is the more efficient way? There will be some method behind mixing the 8ohm amp and the 4ohm speaker, but it just seems really...

Thanks, I've updated my typo, and put a strike through in the 200W part. And thanks for the clarification on the 8 ohm + 8 ohm speakers. I see now how this relates to the wiki link... Impedance Guidelines for External Extension Speaker Cabinets

During the recent Rumble 100 chaining chat, it was mentioned about the 4 ohms vs 8 ohms versions of the combo. I had a look into it as I didn't know what it was all about and it's taken me down the next rabbit hole! I'm not taking this to mean the speaker impedance. There was a link on the...

No worries G-Dog, I looked at it quickly and maybe jumped to conclusions 😕 Nice home studio, and so tidy!

Thanks, that makes sense. I'd literally just seen G-Dogs old post (linked in the WiKi) which stated the "primary unit controls the auxiliary unit except MASTER". Fender Amp Manual for Connecting Multiple Amps

Thanks. Double thanks! It occurred to me something along these lines, but thought I shouldn't double up my question with solutionising! Having said that, my thought might have been along the wet-dry setup so good to have it clarified about the ABY pedal.

Oops! Highlights the naivety of me saying something without thinking properly! As a friend once say, "those who think before they speak usually don't!" Harsh, but true! I'm 100% home practice for the forseeable future, and then I'd like to venture out to play with others. I'm happy...

Thanks for your thoughts on this. I'd recently seen the Wiki links to the threads about connecting combos and it's an interesting rabbit hole to run down (given I needed a new one after finally deciding on my upgrade!). I'm new to this concept, and this will probably have been hashed out...

I'd considered the 200, but the bigger unit size and not to say jump in price meant it's just too much for where I'm at at the moment. The 100 should do me well for a decent amount of time.

    Fender Rumble Club

Hey all, bit of an update on my rumbling! So I'd been using my Studio 40 for the last month which I really liked but I soon realised that there was so much of it that I doubt I would ever use, and the main thing I've ended up using was the various clean tones and getting a bit distracted by...

Thanks @G-Dog. Sorry, I forgot to check there first! I'll take a look and see what I find.

How do you guys connect your Studio 40 (or stage 800, are they the same in that regard?) to your computer to record? I tried the simple method of connecting the USB port to my computer but it didn't seem to register the amp in the sound settings. Not sure if I'm missing something with that.

Thanks @G-Dog for the welcome. Very happy to have found the group! Thanks, I appreciate the encouragement to get involved, and I'm glad to have (hopefully!) added some value in the long run. I was 16 in '92 and I instantly fell in love with guitar when I saw Jimmy Page's live performance of...

    Fender Rumble LT25, Studio 40 & Stage 800

Thanks! It stops early as I can't play the chorus well enough to broadcast!! And it's just a quick and dirty video recorded on my phone. Will need to check it out properly how to connect the DI output. I did see your post, thanks. Not sure I need it just yet, but will probably...
