Yes, believe that it has been established by several that it isn't a Warwick, as for it couldn't be further I'd say perhaps a lone character on headstock that is not a W would be farther.

More great advice that is much appreciated! Looks pretty good under pickguard so may go the non pickguard route. And ya, bridge is a mess! Looks archaic but I think that is just abuse. Not sure how bridge got so messed up when the wood around it and pickup near it are in so much better shape.
