My first bass was an Ibanez GSR 200. I didn't sell it even though someone wanted to buy it. The jack socket was jammed in the last time I had it. I didn't sell it or give it away, but I cant seem to find it. Its like it disapeared.

I kind of want to restore it with its original speakers. I might try and replace the speakers myself with the help of a friend who knows more than i do.

I am purchasing a Ampeg B410hlf for $50. The catch is it has two blown speakers. I was wondering how much the replacement speakers are? What are they? And if the only place I could get them is directly from Ampeg. Also, how much do you guys think it would cost for the repair, since I don't...

when you say "pluck" do you mean playing with your fingers or like "plucking' as in pulling the string to get a snap? if your playing pizzacato or fingerstyle then it shouldn't be hitting the fret, if your getting buzz because of it then you probably need to raise your string height.

Alot of multi-effect units come with simple drum machines for practice. None will make you better, practice will though. I learned that nothing replaces practicing with a metronome, it exposes your bad time. Good time in music is irreplacable and a must. I think drum machines might help your...

Dude there are so many great deals on craigslist. Especially Orange County, LA area... I think im becoming a craigslist addict.. check it about three times a day for goodies and great deals. I think you can find better deals on used gear on there than on ebay!
