Ed Friedland's Bass Grooves - CD damaged in shipping - help!

Greetings! I received a new copy of Ed Friedland's "Bass Grooves" book/CD today...however the CD was damaged in shipping. I'm stationed overseas so returns are a bit of a PITA. Before going that route, I thought I'd put out a feeler here to see if any of you have a digital copy of the CD...

    We Need More Sound!!!

We were asked to play a local charity event to help raise money to fight cancer...of course we can't say no such a great cause. Besides, we're all a bunch of military guys that like to play together and getting any gig is a real treat for us. Anyway, our guitard got it in his head that our...

    Good Guitar Center Experiences

Had one just the other day...it was on a Monday and close to 11am -- no teeny-hoppers in there trying to out do each other (assuming they were in school). I have to say, it was quite plesant and quiet - not only that, but the sales associates were actually friendly (for once). I tryto avoid GC...

The Mediocre Bassist Club, pt. 2: Bigger! (Better, not so much.)

I'm a total newbie...less than a year on the bass, but I'm in a band and we gig on a semi-regular basis. Can I get a number over here?? Cheers! Bill

    Carvin BRX212 performed...

Yeah, I was considering adding the BRX2.10 Neo cab to my setup, but now I'm not so sure. The one downside to the 212 is that my setup and tear-down times are so fast that I wind up doing the lion-share of hauling equipment to/from.

    Carvin BRX212 performed...

flawlessly! I picked up my Carvin BRX212 last August from a fellow TB'r as a "fit" to my playing needs (i.e. easy to transport, set-up and use). Since I'm fairly new to the playing scene, I bought this without knowing really anything about amps and/or cabs (I did some research though...just no...

    Soar throats anyone?

not sure about a "soar" throat...never seen one of those...but for a sore throat you're best option would be to gargle with warm salt water 3-4 times a day. If after 3 days it doesn't begin to improve, go to the doc and get some antibiodics. Cheers!

SOLD FS/FT Feeler: Carvin BRX-212 combo amp

I picked up a BRX 212 from another TB'r last year...this is an amazing piece of hardware folks...you'd kick yourself for passing it up if you've ever experienced one. I wasn't too fond of lugging around a lot of equipment to practice and gigs and this fits the bill perfectly...fits nicely in...
