Hi Everyone,
I tried searching for a similar thread but I couldn't find one. I've decided that I want to build a Frankenstein P-Bass from MIM Fender and/or VM/CV Squier parts. I don't have anything yet, this is only a plan for now. I'm trying to make something that is similar to late '70s...
I bought this 2007 Corvette $$ in December for a very decent price. It's a bit roadworn but I like the "relic'd" vibe that it has. Sounds great and it's amazingly light compared to my '90s Ibanez ATK. I've never really seen this finish on other $$'s, so it's definitely one of a kind.

thanks for the comments guys! I think I'm gonna try the Bassculture replacement in the future, cause a buddy of mine has one in all three of his atks and he says it's incredible. he even said that it put his pre-eb musicman to shame.
hey guys! just a question. I'm thinking about putting a push-pull pot on my atk, so that I can use it both in active and passive mode (a la Warwick). is it worth the trouble or should I just buy a passive bass instead? :)
wow, that's an awesome first bass! I wish my first bass was like that :D congrats btw :)
are the knobs replaced? cause they seem to be bigger than the stock ones.
Thanks! A buddy of mine did it for me, I'm only responsible for the design. :D He cut it out with some kind of burnisher and then he smoothed out the edges with a knife.
