Nate Mendel is known for his use of the fulltone bassdrive. But he have a signature pedal now. The Ashdown NM2 Dubble Drive is most likely based on the fulltone.

There is a video of a silicon and germanium. I like the germanium better... bit warmer and less harsh.

The tech 21 bass boost fuzz seems to be good for the 'dance to the music' and 'mean mr mustard' kinda tones.

I really like the tones from the justin chancellor tool setting (check dunlop booklet) Usually I have the dry on 9/10 o' clock, wet 2 o'clock, tone 11/12 o'clock and fuzz 2 o'clock. Sometimes I have the tone on 9 o'clock to get a dark fuzz tone.
