I don't mind seeing a million threads about price drops. It's the million "bad news and despair" threads that annoy me. On a similar note, I haven't lost faith in Fender. If the price is right, I'm going to buy from Fender again.

I'd go with Randy Rhoades. Given the needs of the genre currently, I'd argue that he has the right combination of balls and flash required to propel a band to superstardom.

After spending some time with a Precision, I think Jazz was definitely the way to go for a rookie. The thinner neck makes all the difference those first few weeks of playing.

So, I think I may go with a 4 string Fender P and a T-Bird Pro V... Along with my Jazz, I'd have a holy trio.
