A question for anyone: Does the pedal need to have a LM308N chip in it to be considered a rat? Are there other alternatives and it would be still called a rat pedal?

If playing into an amp, know what the flat tone settings are. Else, it can really affect the sound of the pedals too much. The knobs on my amp where set a noon but it was still too scooped so I disliked the pedals and got rid of them.

How would you compare the reverse pickup arrangement soundwise to the standard arrangement? That setup looks really good.

Is it possible that either when practicing or doing a gig, Have someone record you guys then listen to it later? Then make decisions based on that.
