    Just snagged this Epiphone Blackbird for around 250$. Paired with my mysterious japanese sixx. Ironically I don’t even listen to nikki sixx’s music. I shortly upgraded the bridge with a hipshot. miles better than the stock 3 point

    Welp, chanced upon these DiMarzio’s when I went out for work today. Much better tonal fit! Closer to the original tone of the ceramic set with added output and range. also no more 60cycle hum from the J!

    Do vintage Fenders really corrode this way?

    I recently built an MJT parts tele with some Fender factory relic’s hardware.. The saddle height screws were rusted so bad, it was stuck and the heads broke off. T’was brand new! They really shouldn’t relic tha moving parts that much imo, only the cosmetic areas
