Do we need a gofundme to get you some footwear?

sweetness….what year’s that?..
It has a few unique features for sure. The hs may look like a NS Sig or a Spector but I doubt it is either one. I'll guess since it has Gotoh tuners, it's a Japanese export bass of presently undetermined brand from the late '80s-early '90s. So one volume for both h pu's together? That would be odd. How does it sound?
No markings on the heel, pickup, and control cavity.Everything about it screams Fernandes, but I have never seen one with only dot inlays. Have you removed the neck to see if there are any markings?
so much so, i can’t tell if it’s a 60’s or 70’’s….It's great - every band member gets screen time in front of the camera... every member BUT the bass player! It was a thing for most bands (other than the Beatles or bands with bass-player lead singers)
At the same time, if you have influence, why not use it? And if you've made a ton of money and been smart about investing it, you can take the financial hit.
From November to mid-January, people on Next Door were routinely posting videos of porch pirates and vehicle thefts. AFAIK, nothing ever came of any of them. You have to get *really* clear footage of something important (license plates, faces, etc.) to have a remote chance. They can help, but not nearly as often as people think. Part of that is cheap equipment, part is camera placement & lighting, part is luck, part is local law enforcement load & concern.
Add the Ginger Menace (Ed Sheeran) to that listI'm with you Marshal. I try not to bash artists or music I don't particularly listen to. In the case of the few I could, I just; 1) don't listen to them/their music, and 2) enjoy the artists/music I listen to, including Neil Young.
Kenny G is fair game though...
Add the Ginger Menace (Ed Sheeran) to that list

I think most artists drastically over-estimate their influence. At the same time, if you have influence, why not use it? And if you've made a ton of money and been smart about investing it, you can take the financial hit.
I don't want to get too involved in a political topic here as I have very strong feelings related and I don't want to jeopardize this thread. We have our own thread where things like this are always freely talked about/discussed. So I'll only say there has been some very important music made that was 100% about/addressing what was happening at the time. (socio-political) It might have turned-off some people, but it activated more to attempt to work for change. Not so much today sadly. Music can a powerful voice for change - not just for entertainment.

My drummer friend and I are putting together a Motown/R&B cover band. I was singing backups the other night on What’s Going On and Love Train. Those lyrics from 4 decades ago are relevant today.
Feels good to sing again! You know it.
My mom was a huge fan.
