Thunderbird Club

So my Dingwall is sitting at the UPS facility in the next town north of me, and has been since 9PM last night. I swear they're just doing this to be cruel.
Painful I know. Nevertheless, be thankful it's not being shipped by FedMess. At least you have a better chance of actually getting it.

Just snagged this Epiphone Blackbird for around 250$. Paired with my mysterious japanese sixx.

Ironically I don’t even listen to nikki sixx’s music.

I shortly upgraded the bridge with a hipshot. miles better than the

Great looking basses!!

Of the two signature instruments I own, I purchased for the uniqueness of their aesthetics, not so much the artists who commissioned them-

In the case of the Alpine White Lizzy Hale Explorer guitar with gold hardware and white body and neck binding , a truly beautiful instrument, I had never even heard of the person.

The other is my most recent purchase of the G2 Gene Simmons Thunderbird - was really taken by the white binding on the Ebony neck and body-

But I’ll say this, whether I knew of them or liked their music, they had great taste in instruments-

yes, but notice is asks you to “borrow” someone’s (italian national) health insurance card to operate the machine if you’re foreigner and don’t have one…
so you can ask a policeman, a nun or whoever happens to be walking by….….only in Italy….:D
So funny! I guess they aren't worried about teenagers accessing it?

Good take and I agree! Alot of my guitar and bass collection are signatures with the same sentiments

Speaking of Sixx, thought not an avid fan of Motley Crue, I was impressed by the heavy bass tone in the intro of the title track of their album Dr. Feelgood”.

Does the Hipshot hang over the edges of the center section on the Epi?

A restored Lockheed Electra, this plane flew for Northwest Airlines, U.S. Army the Brazilian Airforce and a couple of private carriers before coming to the museum in '97. It's been restored to look like Amelia Earhart's, up close it is a beautiful thing.
