Fair play, I would say - and I don't think it's the place of this forum to moderate the rights or wrongs of any of it. It's not like we'd even know. For my eyes, the designs were different enough. I really like the look of the Vantage, and it's priced really well - enough to draw the curious out.

That happens a lot, if you sell and buy basses at a distance - a lot of people (myself included, on occasion) will ship with the neck off, and you can find yourself puzzling over the alignment once you've gotten it all back together.
