Interesting, I originally said I thought the pre-amp was different because Sweetwater's site says the 675 has an EQ bypass switch, whereas I know that 505 has the mid frequency selector switch. But in looking at Ibanez's site it says that the switch on the 675 is indeed a mid frequency switch...

How does the SR675/670 compare to the SR505/500? Looks like the pickups and pre-amp are different. Is the finish super thin and prone to chipping off like the SR500?
