Here's one that actually gets played a lot in Havana:



Lyrics are in Spanish but there aren't many and you can twist the feel of it a bit and make it more upbeat if you want.

Brings back memories of growing up. Dad loved and still enjoys this very group.

Sia - cheap thrills
Drake - one dance
Luis fonsi - despacito
Pitbull - hotel room service
Enur - calabria 2007
Don omar - danza kudoro


All these songs still hit to and are perfect for female vocalists

And just for kicks check out this version of Iron Maiden's The Trooper my friend did using the original isolated vocal tracks but then he re-performed all other instrument tracks in a Bossa Nova style.

Yes, both the Santana and Sade catalogs are very deep. You could easily cover an entire evening with just those two artists. But then again, there is so much great music in this genre out there. Have fun with it.
