Oddly, just listened to this one — for the first time. Probably nothing like Havana, still kinda sexy, but I really enjoyed the disc. It's from '75, has some brilliant proggy, funky elements, along with plenty of those more traditional S.A. grooves, for your quest. I know little else, at this stage. The language is foreign to me but the music's universal, and quite special

Thanks, @Tom Bomb, that's a really smooth tune...but possibly a bit too chilled out for what I'm aiming for.
We're meeting up tonight.
Songs we're going to have a go at are Havana(Camila Cabella), Smooth(Santana), Despacito(Luis Fonsi), Shape Of You(Ed Sheeran), Cry To Me(Solomon Burke), and Can't Take My Eyes Off You(Frankie Valli).
I set up a little WhatsApp group and sent links to all the tunes with a very basic chord structure.
Anyone turning up unprepared will be whipped.
It should be fun!
