Sorry - I misread your post. I read the GT-10B as GT-1B which I had been previously commenting on. Sorry - yes sir, the GT-10B most definitely has midi in/out as you know now after reading gummy's post. Sorry to speak before READING!

I had one but returned it and staying with the GT-10B. There is no MIDI In/Out on the unit.

I see what you meant now. The 1/4" out sounded pretty darn good to me, just thought the balanced would be an even cleaner signal and for $500 it better work... so I guess I'll pursue the repairs.

Same here, -10dB still = HISS. I'm probably going to have to force a fix through Sweetwater's 2 year warranty. Don't understand the grounding cable idea you speak of.

I used my 10B for the first time last night and followed the advice given above and experienced the same hiss on the Sub Outs. So, I switched out of the Sub Out to a 1/4" (Left Mono)>Radial Pro DI and got none of the hiss. Bought from Sweetwater in September, guess I'll see what their FREE...

Do you think that a Powered Bass DI like the ones I mentioned above (AguilarTone Hammer, Eden WTDI, SansAmp Bass Driver, etc.) would be cleaner than the GT in 1/4" L OUTPUT mode? also if I have to run 1/4" L OUT to a Radial DI... what would the desired OUTPUT LEVEL be? When I play lead...
