hey edwin... i just got the plunge audio unity stage on your suggestion. they are great, and much wider range than the shures. thanks for the suggestion. there are 6 sets of tips... 3 with metal, and 3 with plastic. do you know the difference? there's no documentation provided.

Yes this is exactly the situation. But huge subs on stage and 2 drummers complicates the issue even with no wedge/monitors. It sounds like IEMs are the way.

The iems I used were made by perfect seal. They were custom molds. It almost felt like they went too deep

i have a cafe walter for home practice, and a vox amplug for travel practice. but ever since my android phone eliminated the aux output (and now relies on bluetooth) my amplug has become useless. i know i can get a usb-c converter (to mini), but i can't keep track of them, and never have them...

they have the same sockets... BUT... i found this Tube rolling a Demeter VTBP-M-800D and the left is the X and the right is T. problem solved. thanks.
