They have landed in Europe :) I'm impressed with the one I received. Squier have done well with these. Might not be totally authentic to the original colour and necks, close enough for me. I have a spare CV rosewood neck I bought that I was thinking I might change over at some point, but not yet.

not sure if it helps but I run active and passive basses through a SansAmp paradriver into the front of my Rumble v3 500 combo and have had no problems.

Man up! A good sound/playing bass is just that. I have had a few P-basses over the years, the one I have held onto the longest is a 73 P, for a reason, the sound the weight and the playability. I have had some older and newer that are now gone. Judge the bass on what you like not it's age.

I guess it's what you are used to. I like a chunky P bass neck, and find my new MK1's neck to be flatter but with that pronounced V shape, maybe it makes it feel a little deeper but not chunkier (if that makes sense) With regards to neck dive on the new MK1's, mine seems fine with a fairly wide...

I think it makes sense to order asap if you know you want a new one. I was looking for a long time at used Wal's and saw they were selling for round about the price of a new build, so for me it was a no-brainer. Plus it makes you feel better about making the order when the prices shoot up...
