I received my new red tort scratplate today from WD uk and I'm very happy with it :)

They told me they had cut the scratch plate from the wrong template and will now be using the template below and sending me a new one asap. When it arrives in a couple of weeks I'll let you know whether it fits and upload a photo

I emailed WD music uk and although they don't have the PJ version on their website they said they had the template to make one but when it arrived it the screws around the outside where in the right place but the p pups where quite a long way off and there was no hole for the switch

I ordered a tortoiseshell scratchplate from WD music and was waiting a long time for it. When I opened it today the hole for the p pickup was a long way off where it should be so I'm getting a refund. Has anyone found any scratchplates that fit?

I sent fender an e email a couple of weeks ago saying that their website was wrong saying the mustang PJ had a but width of 1.65".....they have corrected it and it now reads the correct measurement of 1.5" Well done Fender!

I really like these new mustang basses. I am a bit confused about the nut width as another member uploaded a picture of theirs with a ruler saying 1.5" but on the fender website it says 1.65". I know sometimes there can be mistakes on their website!!! If anyone who has one at home could help me...
