    Vanzandt P-Basses?

Yeah, really expensive, although I think those are list prices. There are some deals for 188,000 JPY, which is around 2,500 USD - still pretty expensive. The normal going price is around 225,000 I think - expensive !! The neck radius is kind of unusual 210 mm, which I think is around 8 1/4...

Nothing wrong with Warmoth or USA Custom, but was just wondering what options were available. Thanks, I will also be checking these out as well.

Looking for builder to build p-bass body

Looking to put together a p-bass, but was wondering if there were any builders out there, like k-line, that could build me a body and do a finish. Can you guys give me some names of builders that could build a body for me? Just looking for alternatives to Warmoth, Mighty Mite, etc. Thanks.

hey rodl2005 - how did you get to the preamp section? did you have to remove the cab from the chasis to get there?

    AMPEG V4BH 12AU7/12AX7's which???

hey rodl2005, i checked my v4bh, it is an earlier one, not the most current all black version (the v4b lettering is blue and red, rather than white), and it looks like I only have two preamp tubes - can this be right? strange.

    AMPEG V4BH 12AU7/12AX7's which???

I could be wrong, but I don't think there is much difference between the two other than, from what I understand, the AU7 will give you more clean headroom than an AX7. I'll check my V4BH when I get home to see what's sitting in there.
