Sure as a developer myself I appreciate even seemingly small changes can be time consuming to implement.
In this case it seems like it’s just a few extra options needed in the knob assign drop downs. Assuming the individual channel controls can already be referenced in the code.
Assigning the...
Had a good play with my Kingmaker / Aftershock now.
Soundwise it seems really good with a lot of potential, not had a chance to crank the volume yet but seems more natural than distortions on my Zoom MS-60B.
However I feel a little disappointed with some of the dual channel options. It can do...
Sadly it looks like it won't work on the Aftershock / Kingmaker. The external expression X Y input is tied to the 4 physical pedal knobs rather than independently assignable so don't really gain any additional control. But the External tap function does let you switch channels etc.
However it...
Yes but Disaster Area DMC costs the same as I paid for the Kingmaker. Only need to switch between L & R channels anyhow which should work with Tap.
Can see midi would probably make more sense with the C4 or to control multiple pedals.
Got the Kingmaker now, sounds good.
Looks like external expression control won't be useful. Just testing and it seems the Expression X & Y can only be assigned to the existing the 4 control knobs?
Guess I will just make a simple Tap button instead.
Also can you use the iPhone neuro app via...
Not got my Kingmaker yet but already thinking about how to setup extra external control.
Disaster Area DMC seems overkill just for the distortion pedal. SA Tap Tempo is a bit limited, costs £40 and is chunky for just one button. Was thinking about making my own Mini Tap Button or even a dual...
Bit confusing but cool. Quite like the purple anyhow, not paying extra 25% just to have in orange.
Ordered it now. Looking forward to digging around in the Neuro settings. Have a feeling I may end up pairing with a C4 at some point.
Probably been asked before but is there any difference between the Aftershock (£189) and Kingmaker (£142)?
Looks like the only difference is control labels and colour?
Still has all the same distortion options and can easily overwrite the default switch presets?
Just want a quick sanity check...
LaBella Flatwound .096's finally arrived for my Ignition Club. Such a huge difference in sound and feel over the cheap stock strings. Not played flats before, loving the silky feel, low fret noise and amazing tone.
My reason for getting the Hofner was to have a second bass for more vintage / P...
Removed pickguard from my Ignition Club and filled the 2 holes with a drip of hot wax from floor repair kit I had laying around:
Also got it playing nicer after flattening out neck a bit.
Not had chance to really turn it up yet (neighbours), find it nice just for a bit of playing unplugged on couch. Still getting used to feel of it and tinkering with setup.
Unfortunately playing unplugged really highlights any fret noise, stock round-wounds don’t help either LaBellas are on...
My main bass is a Fender Jazz MIA but just bought myself a Hofner Ignition Club as a cheap plaything. Got curious after ogling the McCartney basses on display when I visited the Cavern club in Liverpool. Then started reading up on the Club version which appealed to me more than the violin style...
Yeah got it on a bit of a whim but it’s really growing on me, can see why some folks love them. Bit too quirky for me to use as my main but makes Jazz and Precision style basses look and feel kinda boring.
