    Double Bass Bows in Montreal

Hi, I'm starting at McGill in September and I'm trying to find a bow dealer in Montreal. I need a French bow between $1000 - $1800. Does anyone know of anybody? Thanks

    Double Bass Ebay Baroque Bows

I would be wary of anything with a price that low. Best to find a maker that's well known for them.

    Double Bass Pickup suggestions?

I recommend the shadow pickup. They're cheap but very high quality sound.

Double Bass What Should I clean my upright fingerboard with??

A good, harmless substance is linseed oil. It's used to make the varnish anyways. Works for the whole bass but you don't need it often.

    Double Bass Jaroslav Dvorak ?

Hey there. I play on a bass made by this man. It's labeled as being made in 1895 in Prague. I also happen to know this guy was mostly known for exceptional violins. I don't know if he was related to the composer but it seems likely because Antonin was from Prague and he was the eldest of 8...
