None of those are what I'm asking for. I should have been more clear in my initial post. Orange bass amps have their own distortion circuit. I'm looking for just that bass distortion/blend circuit in a pedal. I just want the overdrive circuit. All of those are compressors, fuzz, switches...

Has Orange ever made a pedal that is just the distortion circuit from their amps? If so, what was it? If not, what's the closest thing to that Orange distortion tone you've found in a pedal?

You can do anything with the EQ system on that bass.

Sort of both. With a fretless, you are limited on attack. Depending on how you "fret" the note you can get some good range in "mwah" all the way to "mmwwwahhhhhh". Bu that's it. WIth normal steel frets, you get even less control. In "Boom" or "booszzzzsooo". With taped frets I have a...

For "Pi" no. That was just a beast to play. I had to do a lot of note cutting on that. Check out Song 6 on Vaciliating dances. (First of all, that bass is completely clean, so if you are getting fuzz or distortion, then use better speakers/headphones. It's way down there in the 20-40 Hz...
