Here's my old school Reggae setup. Flats on the '88 Steinberger, neck pickup only, treble rolled off. And those two cabs just fit in my car, whereas a 2x15 wouldn't, even if I could lift it. Double ball flats are hard to find, but I only change 'em every 10 years or so.

I came across a post from CL San Francisco from a few years ago for a Miller Sound 4x12 Guitar cab with the same ID plate on the back. That's about all the Google could find.

Sweet. I have one of those, too. I got it on eBay with a gig bag for $100 about 8 years ago. Didn't expect much but it turned out to be a gem. Still have it, still play it, still love it. Got some fat flatwounds on it. I tried another Robelli fretless, a different model, and it was total crap.

If it said "Mesa" on the grille, it would have been gone in seconds. I guess no one, including the owner, knew what it was. I've had TL606's on the brain for weeks and I recognized it right away. I was about to build one myself and I figured if it was in bad shape I could use the parts.

It came with a cloth grille. I took it off for the photo. I'll probably replace it with a metal one soon.

Yeah, well ya can't see a gift like that and take a week to think about it. When I called the owner he said he was leaving town in and hour and a half. I was 70 miles away, but I made it there with about 5 minutes to spare.

I saw the same unbelievable ad on CL. $35?!? I Googled Miller Sound Productions and this page was the only thing that came up. I have an EV 15B speaker that this cab was made for and I was pretty disappointed to see that it was sold, as I've been looking for an affordable one for a while...

What a deal! $35 for a TL606 cabinet? You should have bought it on the spot.

I have a Lab Series L5. The 2 12" speakers are 16 Ohms in parallel for an 8 Ohm load. I think all the Lab Series amps were designed for 8 Ohms, and I've read several places that you could drop to 4 Ohms if you had a good fan running to keep things cool. By the way, the odd number models...
