Specs and info on the LAB series amps

Hey.
I recently bought a LAB L4 200 watt amp (cheap). I wan't to buy a new cab probably an Ampeg SVT 4*10 HLF and i need to know what impedence the amp was designed for. I believe it was "bundled" with a 2* 15" cab originally - propably running at 4 ohms.

I believe the LAB's where produced by Moog (?) for Gibson beeing their "low end" amps.

I'f you have any experience with this amp or an specs/info please post it - i would be gratefull.

I have a Lab Series L5. The 2 12" speakers are 16 Ohms in parallel for an 8 Ohm load. I think all the Lab Series amps were designed for 8 Ohms, and I've read several places that you could drop to 4 Ohms if you had a good fan running to keep things cool.

By the way, the odd number models were guitar amps, and the even numbers are bass amps.
