    Check the nut height as well.A high nut will cause the first few frets to go sharp.

    Help me please about EMG PICK UP & Preamp

    I had EMG 45dc on my steinberger spirit with 2 volumes and 1 tone.It was okay but it sounds better with the EMG BTC preamp.You replace the tone knob with a concentric pot for the bass and treble cut/boost.If you need more headroom,just set it up to 18 volts.

    Can a standard CTS 250K pot be wired to work in reverse?

    Yes you can reverse it.Looking at the pot upside down,just ground the left tab,the hot output goes to the right tab andthe middle tab goes to the output jack and/or pickup selector.

    I use Virtuoso cleaner and premium polish every six months.Lizard spit and microfiber cloth for fast and easy cleaning.:)

    Another option is the Godlyke powerall.2000mah and very quiet.I use that for my effects.
