    Just to bring this elderly thread up to date, I bought one of the Orange 2x15" cabinets new, without speakers (dont remember how or where) but I put a pair of 150watt Altec Lansings in it and the throw that those parabolic reflectors gave you was HUGE! Love to know if that cabinet is still...

    Curious to know how many of you guys commenting in this thread actually make your living primarily from gigging? FWIW I used to, but just show my lily white ass onstage occasionally these days.... :D

    Wedding band drummer told me bass isnt really important hahaha

    Had a duo with a drummer a while back - me on electric guitar and vocals. A couple of songs we DID cheat and had a programmed keys part or brass parts where they were integral to the song. No click track, just a count in (and me on bass, recorded in the studio and added to backing track!) :D...
