What instrument cables do you use?

I've been using GC's Live Wire. Years ago in the 80's I always used Whirlwind. What ever happen to them, I never see them in store's anymore?

My experience with bassstringsonline.com part 2!

BassStingsOnline is the cheapest price I've seen. Hell, he's price is $5 cheaper then any music store here in New Jersey plus no 7% sale's tax!! :hyper: The funny thing is I use DR stings and are made right here in New Jersey, so the stings will travel 6,000 miles to get to me...lol :p

DR String user's, Please step in.

That's just not my style tho. I guess I'm hard on my sting's and don't use a pick. My style is a cross between Geezer Butler and Steve Harris along with bending string's, hammer on's, pull off's and and punching the body of the bass.:bassist:

DR String user's, Please step in.

Yea...I thought so, 7 month's is a long time but the last few month's these string's sounded great for what I play. For the first 2 month's I had alot of finger noise and overtone. Now the string's are getting stiff like it's getting harder to bend the string. So I thought to try some...

Just wondering what's the longest you had a set on till you had to change them. I put on a set of Hi-Beams in April, now it's 7 month's later and I need to change them. Great sting's tho. Now I'm thinking of putting on a set of the DR Neon's now. What color would look good on a black and...

    Let's talk about neck's

Yea...it's an 1/8 turn everytime. I like to keep the height at the 12th fret at a U.S. quarter coin height. When it bows forward I get fret buzz at the 19th to the 23rd fret, when it bows back I get buzz all over the place. I never had a problam like this with any of basses I had in the pass. I...

    Let's talk about neck's

I have an 06 Ibanez SR300 DX with the P/J p/u's. Had it for a year now and I've notice everytime the the tempeture change's by 5-7 degree's I need to re-adjust the neck. Last time I re-adjust the neck it was 78 degree's outside, had the widow's open also. Now here in Jersey we're having a heat...

    Warming up the Acoustic B200

I posted this in the thread I started on the 2nd page and I will post it here too.... I was thinking of trading in my Peavey Max 115 for the B200 combo for more power. The Peavey win's hand's down on construction and debility even tho it's under powered. My search continues for a better amp...
