Oh, c'mon, only two is impossible. I think that for anyone who 1) cares for bass playing and 2) owns a P Bass, then Jamerson is included automatically. I mean, who can play a P and say "No, I don't like Jamerson"?? And Pino Palladino is named so many times in this thread, it's pointless to say I love him too.
So, I'm gonna go with unnamed guys until now:
Adam Clayton (U2) I think he's great.
Nate Mendel from the Foo Fighters
And whoever plays bass in the Arctic Monkeys, I don't know his name, but he play a P and I love his lines.

Alex Webster played a P-bass on the first two Cannibal Corpse albums. Does that count? If not, Geezer Butler and Trevor Dunn.
Nate Newton and Byron Stroud can go there, too. I know Stroud plays more than just P-basses, though.
