    I would recommend you try a Zoom MS60-B. Erase/ignore all of the presets, and start with some tone shaping effects like the EQs preamps and maybe the Exciter. Once you get a tone you like, experiment with different effects like chorus, delay, octave etc.... Once you find some sounds you like...

    It's funny how the same value equation seems to be applicable in all of the forums I frequent (Photography, RC Helicopters, Guns, ect....) More than I spent = overkill, crap you don't need. Less than I paid = cheapo, noob junk. Lots of confirmation bias........
