    IEM system recommendations?

Once you go IEM you won’t go back. It’s the only way to play. Shure se535 is the gold standard. They’re $450 and worth every penny.

Is it crazy for a beginner to want a fretless?

Could you buy the nice fretless and just obtain/keep access to a fretted instrument while you get used to it? Just an idea..

Darkglass Element - Loading New Impulse Responses?

Yes I have also run into similar issues with 3rd party IRs on my Element - many aren't stable. It's new tech that still has bugs but Darglass is working on it. Keep an eye out for firmware updates. The ability to update and improve itself is such a cool feature. I like many of the...

Darkglass Element as an audio interface?

Hi all, I love my Darkglass Element. It's the only way I play anymore, it's just so much fun. Having said that, is anyone out there using the audio interface capabilities? I thought it would be fun to record a few remixes, maye post on SoundCloud? I have a DAW (Audacity) on my PC but have...

    Darkglass e500 Amp

The Darkglass Suite application on the phone is really nice. It's new tech and there are still some minor bugs but they do update it often and it's a powerful tool. I like it a lot.

New strings for Sandberg California 5

Full range, bright and very accurate. You'll have very fine control over the entire shape of your tone.

New strings for Sandberg California 5

Good question, unsure of manufacturer but stepping up from the stock light gauge to a medium 105-45 made a big difference. The 130B is much stiffer and heavier, easier to play and produces a monsterous tone. Not a fan of light gauge strings. Or picks.

New strings for Sandberg California 5

So I ended up putting Fodera strings on and am very pleased. Went with medium gauge with heavy B makes a big difference in the bottom end. Clear, well-balanced and articulate: Link Removed

    Purchase Darkglass Element ?

You can't go wrong with a Darkglass Element, love mine. It's an incredibly powerful tool with countless ways to shape your tone. It even improves with regular firmware updates. You can even record right off an Element because it's also an audio interface. Blending backing tracks is a...
