I have the Peavey Max 1x15. Still very portable. But its plenty loud and powerful enough for most needs. At 300 watts for $299. I would recommend it if your looking into the Max series.

Cool. yeah the Korean Epi Lp's from the 90's are pretty awesome. They are getting harder to get ahold of.

take the grill off your cab. gently push each speaker back and forth. if it easily moves, its fine. if it feels really stiff, you have a blown speaker. If thats not the case. maybe its the gain structure. However, 9o'clock sounds like a pretty reasonable setting so I doubt thats the case. Hope...

The Fender will cover more genres. Good choice on the Hartke LH! I also have a LP bass, Think mines like an 04 model.

kinda hard not too for me, because I have so many favorite players that play so many different types of basses.

Hartke LH1000 IMO gets about any tone you want from clean and punchy to those fat 70s bass tones
