    Dave Matthews Band's Crush was the first song that made me sit up and notice the bass. That song made me want to create sounds like that.

    Carvin LB20 vs SR ibanez

    I know several folks have had LB70s. Those are the same minus the active preamp. Lots of good things said about those. I have a B40. Essentially the same but bolt on neck. I love mine. Great neck

    I voted for the QP but that is only because that was best choice out of those three to me. I would use DiMarzio Model J. Very versatile. I have a set in a Jazz. And I have a set with the Model P in another bass

    Looks newer 2005 and later. If it has the 18 volt system it is relatively newer.

    Black Devil and Wood Sammich. Black Devil needs a good setup. DiMarzio Model P and J. Mahogany body. Carvin neck. Wood Sammich has a Carvin P and Quarter Pounder bridge.

    NBD: Wood Sammich

    It's taken a few years but it's finally done. Two kinds of mahogany, walnut, maple. All parts neck. Carvin P pickup. Duncan quarter pounder bridge pickup. It is pretty snarly. Got light strings on there now. Probably gonna switch to flats
