My last analog house rig ca. 2001. I still own it because this is probably 1200 lbs between the console, power supplies and side racks. Big analog gear can't be sold for squat now. It's basically worthless on the current market, so it's in my barn...
Drum monitor... JBL 2226 15" + 2441 2" on top of a RCF 18" bandpass subwoofer. It will blow you off your chair...
House snake trunk. If I was unlimitedly funded, it would have been Mogami, but I was not, so it's Whirlwind, their stiff-ass blue cable and a Mass 56 pair connector. The 200 feet of it must weigh 75 pounds on it's own.

I got a corner of the TV room for a fraction of my gear. I used to have the guitar amp upstairs where my wife wanted her sewing corner. So we made some concessions, each one of us. The Ampeg is moved a bit to the side so she can put her tea cup on the corner of the Boogie.
One of my currently favorite bass rigs, a Model T head I bought new in 1977 paired with a fairly new GK 412, and our guitar player's 1957 Fender Deluxe:
And then after that, a pic of my currently-set-up for the first time in five years in my new "barn" is my old Monitor-World gear, some real classics. This was my personal gear. I usually worked mostly with provided rental-gear over the past twenty years, but I managed to collect and keep for myself some nice stuff over the years.

Normally this stuff is in three different rooms. Had it all in the basement this weekend.
My bass room looks more like a guitar room. Up until recently the bass hanging up in the corner was just something I used to put down ideas on tape.
A friend of mine needed a bassist, I wanted to try something new.... thus the most recent addition:
So far, so good. I've been having a lot of fun. Also been thinking about trading a couple guitars in on a P bass and a J bass, but the Godin is doing a good job, which is keeping the GAS at bay.

We just bought a new house, and the basement has a room that can't be used for a bedroom. Guess what I got to do with it!!!!!
Just got the furniture tonight, and started hanging stuff up.
Old thread I know; but I just went thru the entire thing and got so much inspiration and motivation that I thought it should be recesitated for others to enjoy. I laughed out loud more than once at the comments about 'I gotta show my wife these rooms to justify mine' and yes I showed my wife several of the pics. I'm not sure that her eyerolls were intended as approval for me acquiring more gear but I kinda took it that way
Anyway; this is the (16'x12') space that I have staked out in our single car garage/laundry room/storage room that my wife and son have dubbed the 'Bassment'
Sorry for the crappy pics, I like it dark in there.

Not sure if I ever updated this thread with my room... I only saw my construction post with bare framing.
Here is my room mostly how it sits. It is usable but not ideal, still fine tuning the rest of the house.
