Awesome. Love the old Peavey stuff. Killer tone and power... that just happens to come with a very small price tag. I've owned several expensive, "top of the line" guitar amps, but have sold them all because I only ever really use my solid state late 70's/early 80's Peavey Bandit 65. The reverb on these is the best I've heard, great EQ versatility, and the saturation control rocks!

Well, mine is nothing compared to most of you, and it doubles as the downstairs living room and kids playroom (triples?), but it works for me. Honestly, I hardly ever have it set up like this because I leave a lot of it (excluding the instruments themselves...) at my drummers house so I don't have to lug it back and forth.

These rooms have given me the idea of the following:

* neon lights is a must
* add drum set to be jam room
* hanging basses on the wall soooo cool

My question is with everyone hanging there basses. I'm wicked anal when it comes to dust on my gear and having my bass and guitar on a stand now....every so often i have to dust and polish it (as least around the pickups and headstock).

How often do you guys dust all you basses that are hanging on the wall??

btw i'm glad everyone is enjoying the thread :cool: :bassist::cool:

Re: gigbag/case storage: gig bags fold up small enough to fit in a milk crate or empty case. I have a coat closet in my back bedroom that is deep enough to stand six hard cases on end, side-by-side ( like this: 111111) and put a rail with coats in front of... "see honey, they don't take up that much space... "

Re: dust: by constantly using them (and of course the semi-regular wipe down) my basses stay pretty clean. Wish I could say the same for the acoustics in the bedroom, they require constant dusting!

Wow, cool thread.

I am amazed at the elbow room in some of these bassrooms. Mine is a spare BR in a 1950s house, so it is tight. I'm also amazed at the number of people who don't store their basses in their cases.

My room has a drum kit in the center, a double bass in a corner, and all the basses and guitars are lined up along the wall, IN THEIR CASES. ;)

Thanks for all the kind and funny comments about my "bassment".
Sometime soon I will update the room so it's more like 2012 than 1980.
It is period correct for the Peaveys and the Ampegs though.:D

Funny,,, no one mentioned the pink flamingos on the Carvin amp!
