My instrument storage rack came from Menards, the plywood for the shelves from The Home Depot and the carpet runner on the shelves from Lowes...

The amp wall. It appears that guitar amps currently out number bass amps...

And, I generally leave the MarkBass CMD121P in front of the entertainment center where I plug my laptop in to practice.

Thanks. My own 210/6 designed cab sits under it. It was the pre-cursor to my 15/6 build and shares a lot of similarities (to which I think of it as a fEARful lite). The fEARful is superior, but when I used two of my 210/6 cabs they were/are killer too.

Obviously in that little office I can't turn up the fEARful very much. I might though in the Spring when I get to some remodeling and need to demolish one wall.

I like this idea and have considered it. But wow, it you don't get the screw into the stud there will be tears for sure.

... I like the fact that the instrument gets locked in.

I have this exact setup and did not use a stud, just went to Home Depot and got the kind of fasteners used to install bathroom cabinets! Very long thick screws with expanding fasteners on the inside of the wall. Pretty solid. And the hercules holders work crazy good.

Good eye, especially with my blurry camera resolution.

I got it a few months ago and was pleasantly surprised by quite a few things with the Ovation. It is very well appointed for dialing in the set-up. It is nice and light at 7.1 pounds. The Typhoon’s semi-hollow body has surprising volume unplugged, but it really shines when DeArmond single coil pickups are fired up. This is one of the few basses I enjoy with the tone turned all the way down - still rich and dark.

Basses are kept in front closet. Door has been changed to a fire proof metal door with a password protected electronic deadbolt system. also inside I have the Lenox Home Security camera with night vision on a digital recorder so if you get in, you will be recorded and if you steal from me and I find you I will cut off your thumbs. Yeah am working it out in therapy ha ha ha

Wouldn't the fire proof part be a little silly since the closet itself isn't actually fireproof? Good idea either way. Perhaps we should start a "paranoid bassist" thread.
