I love this thread. You can GeNERALLY tell a few things from these posts:
- if the poster is married
- if the poster plays bass as a way to generate a significant portion of their income

For the record, I am married and my bass playing is in a weekend bar band where the pay does little more than covers the tab and in home noodling/writing / recording tunes very few will ever hear. (although bass has been a huge part of my life for 30 yrs)

This view is from my side of the room, but it's a pretty huge finished basement. Very well soundproofed. I could stay here all day, as evidenced by the clutter.

And yes. I'm married. My wife is the lead singer in my band!

I keep a little Fender Bassman 25 behind the sofa in the den. Out of site so the wife is happy and I can plug in and play during football with or without headphones.

I knew you were talking about nostatic just from the inventory. Though I gas for the amount of gigs, and the quality music, he plays. That's something you can't pick up in a store!

I'm jealous. I'd love to hang my basses and guitars, but the studs behind the drywall in my music room are in the wrong places to allow it.

So I built a stand that holds 15 guitars. Of course, the nitro finished ones don't reside there.

My office/studio/writing & rehearsal space. There is also a small bedroom next to it that makes a great isolation booth.

My wife's "rock" cello rig, which lives in the living room with her "real" cello.
(There was another thread about living-room rigs that worked for your SO. When your SO is a f-clef player, that ain't a problem!)

Sometimes we clear out the foyer for rehearsal.

No kids. Four cats. Many instruments. Much gear. A fantastic, musical spouse.

All mine are hung on drywall with nothing going into any studs. I used the Hercules hangers with a triangular base that takes 3 screws. And I used Toggler SnapSkru SP drywall anchors that are rated at 79 lbs EACH.
