Wow, some really nice spaces, guys! I could only wish for a dedicated music room for all of my stuff. Between my basses, guitars, amps, a 88 key keyboard workstation and monitors, computers for music and other things... Then, I'd need a second room for my photography related stuff. Well, as long as I'm dreaming.... :p
 
Here's another take on this concept. The hangers are just slightly different. Just be sure to use a stud finder and hit the stud with the screws when you put up the hangers. It's also preferable to hang the basses on an interior wall to minimize fluctuations in temperature.

I thought I would be moving soon but that is not the case. So i decided to turn my bedroom into my music room/bedroom. I am going with the wall hanger route, because...well the only space I have. The only interior wall I have in my room is against the bathroom. I don't beleive there is any insulation in it. Or the outside walls that have insulation?
