On the second bass, why are there three pots? I understand that's the typical electronics config for a P+J, but I can only see a single P pickup on this one...

Sounds interesting, although a little bit of hard work to be done. Can you post some sound clips? Also, the Tone Monster preamp seems to be interesting, but is kinda discouraging the fact that they don't include / provide knobs, and the preamp I'd like to try on my Grind has two concentric pots...
