That really happens when I started sanding bodies full time, I was constantly sanding through my fingertips. My hands were so sensitive to hot water. I couldn’t do dishes. Guess that was a perk.

Also if you sand too much on the body the pickup and neck pockets will be shallow so keep an eye on the desired neck pocket depth as you sand.
