I'm looking at the Helix stomp primarily for amp modeling. I have a DOD 410 Boost that I love. My question is how do the amp models handle a boost like that? Is the response similar to a traditional preamp?

DOD BiFET boost 410. $50 used. I have a hard time not just leaving mine on all the time.

My knobs are OK and seem to respond properly. I reached out to Aguilar and sent them a recording of the noise. We'll see what they say.

I recently got a Dod 410 and I couldn't be happier. Using it to drive a Model feT. Nice simple tone knob and 20db of boost.

So I have a question about low end loss on the 250 circuit. I know that by design there is a low end loss that increases as the gain is increased to help with clarity that is built into the circuit. The question I have is if that same effect happens if you boost the signal going into the pedal...

Oh hell you don't need to measure anything! MarkoYYZ's comment helps clarify the feel. I wasn't expecting that Soundgear type neck but flatter and thinner than a typical Fender is what I was hoping for. I've never been a fan of the baseball bat.
