I think Ibanez SG's are an awesome bass for it's price, the only problem being that the quality of the bass varies. I've played some awesome ones and some rediculously bas ones.

Thats awesome, I hear of lots of people starting to play bass but when they think they've mastered it (impossible) they move onto guitar. You dont hear the other way around too often, its nice.
